Daryl LaQuan Stewart

Daryl L. Stewart is an award-winning actor, director, performing and teaching artist. Stewart’s work as an actor has entertained audiences in NY and in Regional Theater productions nationwide. As a theater producer, director and choreographer, Stewart has staged new works and reimagined plays and musical theatre classics for new audiences. As an educator, Stewart teaches the Johnny Mercer Musical Theatre Writing Program, a multi school musical theater writing residency focused on musical theater script and songwriting and serves as a lead teaching artist for the internationally recognized Disney Musicals in Schools program. He currently runs Daryl Stewart Productions, a full service production and creative content arts company. He is an Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) and the co-founding artistic director of Vanguard Theatre Company. He is currently working on his first full length play and a short film screenplay and resides in Newark, New Jersey.
